- Dynamic two-component metering, mix ratio deviation ≤1.5%
- Vacuum-assisted injection for void-free closed-mold parts
- Siemens PLC + servo drives for stable process parameters
- IoT cloud platform for remote production monitoring
- Modular design, capacity scaled to your needs
- Automatic line cleaning for fast material changes
Overview
The Compact Low-Pressure RTM Injection Machine is a two-component automated dosing system built for closed-mold Resin Transfer Molding. It meters resin (Part A) and hardener (Part B) dynamically, mixes them precisely, and injects the blend at low speed under vacuum into a closed mold, where it fully wets out the fiber preform and cures. Compared with hand lay-up and open pouring, RTM delivers low porosity, stable dimensions and smooth surfaces on both faces — ideal for aerospace, automotive and wind energy parts that demand consistent quality.
Advantages
- Accurate metering: dynamic two-component dosing holds mix ratio deviation to ≤1.5% for batch-to-batch consistency;
- Vacuum assisted: the mold and material are degassed before injection, and closed-mold molding eliminates voids and dry spots;
- Low-pressure injection: up to 0.25 MPa, gentle on mold seals and fibers — well suited to large thin-wall parts;
- Smart control: Siemens PLC with Schneider servo drives; process curves can be stored and traced;
- Cloud connectivity: links to an IoT cloud platform that uploads temperature, pressure, flow and output in real time for remote service;
- Modular expansion: tanks, pump sets and mixing unit are modular, so capacity can be scaled up or down as needed.
Process
- Preparation: Part A and Part B are stored in separate 30 L SUS304 tanks with stirring and temperature-controlled conditioning;
- Metering: high-pressure dual-cylinder reciprocating piston pumps deliver each component at the set ratio with ≤±0.01 error;
- Mixing: the components pass through a static mixer and enter the injection unit;
- Vacuum: after the mold closes, a 40 m³/h vacuum pump evacuates the cavity and the material to remove air;
- Injection: the mixed material is injected at low pressure under vacuum to fully wet out the fiber preform;
- Curing and cleaning: after pressure-hold curing, the mold opens and the part is removed; an 8 L automatic cleaning tank flushes the lines for the next run.
